The best authentic Chinese restaurant you can find in Arusha, we came here twice in 4 days and have tried a quite wide range of food, most are excellent, tasted and smelled just like real Chinese food. Personal favorites are: double cooked meat, sour pickle fish, fried rice, shredded pork and mapo tofu

Came in for dinner with friends. Delicious food in big shareable sizes and it came fast - no complaints there at all. 4 stars is due to a foul garbage smell right at the entry gate! Such a shame. And Inside the restaurant we saw a sign saying something like “coffee, tea and water only for staying guests, not for take-away or staff” which I find very disrespectful towards staff and imposes such a lack of trust even between restaurant guests and staff. Pole for the staff, I hope they are treated with respect as they were kind and helpful. Otherwise fine

We went here for dinner and bought food for a lot we couldn’t finish (we paid for it) but we where not allowed to take away, although the table was full with food that all went to waste. I offered to pay for take away (we didn’t want nothing for free) they did not allow. Extremely bad. After talking to the manager we where allowed but the staff did not allow although we offered to pay.

After trying all of the Chinese food in Arusha Flame Tree is the best! There are lots of vegetarian options to choose from and the food is spicy and amazing. The cold cucumber salad is top notch, it’s spicy, crunchy, salty, and delicious! The Mapo Tofu here is by far the best in Arusha too.
